How to Choose the Right Product
What is a vehicle awning?
A vehicle awning is a retractable shade structure that mounts to roof racks, roof bars, or vehicle sides. It extends outward to provide weather protection and shaded outdoor living space for camping, touring, and outdoor activities.
Types of vehicle awnings
Side awnings:
Pull out perpendicular to the vehicle on one side. Standard projection is 2m–2.5m. Best for quick shade setups.
270-degree awnings:
Wrap around three sides of the vehicle (driver side, rear, passenger side). Provide maximum coverage area and wind protection from multiple directions.
Freestanding awnings:
Supported by legs without vehicle attachment. Can be positioned independently of vehicle location.
