Warranty Period
2 years manufacturer warranty (REDARC standard)
Coverage
Covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for BCDC1250D unit. Warranty applies from date of purchase with valid proof of purchase.
Exclusions
Does not cover damage from improper installation, incorrect input voltage exceeding 9-32V DC range, reverse polarity connection, physical impact damage, water ingress from inadequate sealing or mounting, overheating from insufficient ventilation clearance, use without proper input/output fusing (60A recommended), or use with incompatible battery types without proper configuration.
Installation Requirements
Installation must follow REDARC installation manual specifications. Warranty validity requires proper wire gauge selection for 50A current capacity, secure mounting in ventilated location, correct fusing on input and output circuits using REDARC FK60 or equivalent 60A fuse kits (not supplied with unit), and configuration for correct battery chemistry. Installation by qualified automotive electrician recommended.
Mounting Recommendations
REDARC vehicle-specific 304 stainless steel mounting brackets available separately for optimal installation in engine bay locations with cooler airflow. Brackets designed to utilize existing vehicle mounting points.
